Our Automatic Infeed Table (AIT) seamlessly automates the infeed side of your Razer. Simply load lumber onto the AIT and the system takes care of the rest.
The Stak-n-Gap module is an add-on to AIT. This easy upgrade option will automatically orientate and stack your lumber, resulting in peak productivity with minimal manpower. Keeping up with a Razer can be hard work – especially when an operator or a loader is checking lumber for bow and stacking boards on top of one another.
The Stak-n-Gap upgrade clamps onto your existing system. Boards can be loaded onto the side transfers in a single row with or without gaps, where they are separated and scanned for bow. Based on what members will be cut from that particular stick of lumber, the Razer tells the Stak-n-Gap system to flip the board if necessary. Then the board is automatically flipped before being stacked! This clever upgrade can be installed on any Razer with an automated infeed system. It’s a fantastic option for Razer systems with a PackFeeder.
The cycle time is 15 seconds for up to two boards. It’s designed to keep up with the Razer linear saw. It keeps things moving.
What size lumber does it take?
Supported lumber sizes are minimum lengths of 8′ to maximum lengths of 20′.
What happens if the lumber has a bow?
The Razer is smart, it knows what cuts are needed from the lumber. The boards are then scanned to determine if they need to be flipped or not so any bows are automatically accounted for.
