Direct Delivery System (DDS)

Whydo you need it?

  • Accepts cut components from one or more saws
  • Dual and Single direction kick off mechanisms that can be positioned anywhere along the conveyor lines
  • Ability to split the conveyor into multiple lines feeding in different directions
  • High speed rotation options for moving components to a conveyor line that is 90 degrees to the first conveyor
  • All cut components can be justified at the kick off locations to best suit the factory layout

The finished product has not only met, but exceeded our expectations. With the minimal footprint of the PackFeeder, the accuracy, speed and reliability of the Razer V5, the speed and efficiency of the Material Conveyor system, and the overall support by this team we are extremely pleased with the outcome.

~Josh Wright V.P. of Manufacturing The Truss Company, USA

We’ve grown over 50% in the last two years, the saw has been a big part to play in that from a cutting point of view. Knowing that we could do that and having extra capacity up our sleeve is of real benefit

~The Truss Joint

The printing options on the members has endless opportunities. Being able to print on the edge as well as the flat is a very impressive feature..

FAQ’sabout the DDS

  • Is the DDS scaleable?

Definitely, and offers you the ability to split the conveyor into multiple lines feeding in different directions. Kickoff components can be based on configurable rules for example- type of member, location in truss/frame, dimensions, etc.

  • How many staff do I need to operate and monitor it?

So it doesn’t actually need staff to operate it, this solution offers maximum safety with minimal labor requirements.

  • What are the maximum kick off locations?

Supports anything from 1 to 99 total locations in any direction to suit your factory layout.

  • Can it work with more than one Saw?

Much of the logic takes place within the saws themselves – optimizing, orientation, order, and kickoff location considerations for example. The cut components are then handed over to the Direct Delivery System with the appropriate information from one or more saws.

  • Is it easy to maintain?

That’s the best part, it is a simple and reliable solution that is designed to be easy to maintain and repair.
